Smoother Days Intensive
Four private sessions to figure out why home feels this hard, and what to actually do about it.
You've read the books. You've tried the chore chart, the visual schedule, the reward system, the new morning routine that lasted nine days. Some of it helped for a while. None of it held.
That's usually because the strategy was fine and the reason underneath it was never named. A kid who can't start their homework and a kid who won't start their homework need completely different things from you, and from the outside they look identical.
The Intensive is four private sessions where we work out which one you're dealing with, and then build something that fits your actual family instead of a family from a book.
This is probably you if
Mornings, homework, or bedtime have become the hardest part of your day
You're doing an enormous amount of remembering on everyone else's behalf, and you're tired in a way sleep doesn't touch
Your child has a diagnosis, or doesn't, and either way the standard advice keeps missing
You've built systems before and watched them stop working
You want to understand why this is happening, not just get handed another strategy
How it works
Four 50-minute sessions with me, one to one, on video. Just you, or you and your partner. Your child doesn't need to be scheduled, present, or on board with any of it.
1- See it clearly. We map your actual week. Where the day runs fine, where it falls apart, and what's happening in the ten minutes before it does. We also look at your own nervous system, because a depleted parent cannot regulate anybody. This is the part most parenting advice skips, and it's the part that makes everything after it work.
2- Find the why. We take what you're seeing and run it through three lenses: sensory processing, self-regulation, and executive function. This is where the picture usually changes. What looked like defiance turns out to be a nervous system at capacity, and what looked like laziness turns out to be a kid who can't find the first step.
3- Build it. Now we design the systems. Routines that account for how your child actually starts things, a process for the parts of the day that have to happen, and organization that survives contact with a real house. We build for the family you have.
4- Make it hold. The first version is almost never the one that sticks, so we adjust. Then we build the accountability piece and talk through what to do the week it slips, because it will, and knowing that in advance is the difference between a bad week and giving up.
What's included
Four private 1 hour sessions with me
Full access to the Smoother Days online course and workbook, yours to keep and revisit
A written plan for your household at the end, so it doesn't live only in your memory
Email and voxer access to me between sessions for the questions that come up mid-week
Access to the Smoother Days community
What you walk away with
An explanation for why your days go the way they do, in language you can use with a teacher, a pediatrician, or your own mother. A plan built around your family. And the thing most parents tell me matters most: you stop being the only person holding the whole schedule in your head.
What this isn't
This isn't therapy, and it isn't an evaluation or a diagnosis. If your child needs direct occupational, speech, or physical therapy, I'll tell you and help you find it. This is education and strategy for the adults, which for a lot of families is the piece nobody has offered yet.
