Consulting

Practice Owners

Most pediatric practice owners start as clinicians first — with a dream of helping more children and families — and then piece together what it means to run a business along the way. I know that path well, and I'm grateful for the mentors and guides who supported me when I was just starting out as a practice owner. Now, I get to offer that same support to others.

I specialize in pediatric private practice consulting, bringing over 14 years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist and 8 years as the owner of a multi-location private practice to help you navigate the unique complexities of running your clinic. My services are designed to address the specific needs of pediatric practice owners, including program development, clinical ladder implementation, and the creation of comprehensive onboarding programs. By focusing on critical areas such as hiring and retention, culture building, and strengthening referral partnerships, I offer honest, candid feedback to help you grow into a more confident leader.

I offer a free discovery call to ensure we're a good fit and to make recommendations for how to move forward together. Whether through hourly strategic planning sessions or a retainer model, my goal is to support you in building a strong, unified team while achieving a sustainable balance between professional success and personal life.

Task Masters

Getting a tween or teen out the door in the morning shouldn't take four reminders and a raised voice. Task Masters is a short, focused program I built after working out these systems in my own house with my own kids.

Over four 50-minute sessions, your child and I look at how their day currently runs, build a process they can follow for the things they have to get done, and put organizational systems in place that fit the way their brain actually works. We adjust as we go, because the first version is rarely the one that sticks. By the end, they leave with an accountability that they have helped design.

Sessions are available at the Durham, Carrboro, and Cary clinics, or virtually.
