Online Courses

You already know the part of the day that falls apart. Most parents do. It is the same twenty minutes every morning, or the stretch between the pickup line and dinner, or the hour before bed that stretches in two and eats up the time you have to actually decompress yourself. You have tried being more patient. You have tried being firmer. You have probably tried a sticker chart.

The Smoother Start is a five-week live cohort for parents who are tired of watching that same part of the day come undone.

Five weeks of understanding why it is hard, and then building something that actually fits your family.

It starts with you.

Included in cohort registration:

  • the full Smoother Days course and workbook to watch on your own time and have access to for life

  • 4 live calls with me where we take that material and apply it to your actual family

  • an online community in between to ask questions and get support as you implement into your day-to-day

We do the work on the call, so you leave with something built and ready to use instead of one more item on a list.

There is a catch-up week in the middle with no call at all. Gives you time to make adjustments, review, and take observations on how the changes you are making are landing.

And here is the part I care about the most.

The secret sauce of this program is really the emphasis on parents putting the oxygen mask on first. Every lens in this course asks you to look at yourself before you look at your child. A steady adult is what a dysregulated kid borrows from, so knowing how to regulate ourselves first is the greatest key to unlocking how everything else falls into place. There is no version of this work that skips you.

The first Smoother Start Cohort is underway!

We are building an interest list for the next Cohort, so if this is something your family would benefit from - fill out the form and we’ll keep you posted on when the next round is starting!

We can’t wait to meet you!

Self- Paced Courses

Most parenting advice treats hard mornings, homework standoffs, and evening meltdowns as problems of attitude or effort. Smoother Days begins somewhere else. The behavior a parent sees is almost always the nervous system communicating something, and once a parent learns to read that signal, the daily friction starts to make a great deal more sense. This course is 100% self-paced and includes a companion workbook to help you process the information and put it into action. When you enroll, you also get access to a community of learners to learn alongside and share ideas and support.

I created this training for Summer Camp counselors and leadership to learn more about neurodivergence, and gain confidence to support all their campers during camp activities.

In this video course, I’ll guide you through four modules where we will learn terminology, sensory signs to look for, and tools to help in various Summer Camp scenarios. Whether your staff is full of seasoned camp counselors, or they’re new to the job, this training will increase their understanding of neurodiversity, making them feel more empowered to offer meaningful support. You will also have access to a camp guidebook, visual resources for improved communication, a reflection survey and course completion certificate!

If you’re looking for a more personalized opportunity, we are offering a Live Workshop Bundle in addition to this course that includes Individualized Support Plan developed for your camp, 1-hour live workshop with an occupational therapist, post-training mentorship & Q&A, live problem-solving and strategy & equipment demonstrations!
